Before I sent off on this adventure, I wrote of list of my ‘Top 5’ experiences / places to travel as a sort of guidepost to help me keep true to why I wanted to do this in the first place. One of those items was :spend 1 month on a beach in Greece. Well, I think it’s safe to say that spending 38 days on a Hawaiian beach was a fair compromise!
With one last look at Waikiki Beach, I reclined my seat and settled in for the almost 3 day journey across the Pacific Ocean that would eventually bring me to my next travel destination: New Zealand!
All I can say is ” Aloha, Hawai’i” (it means, hello, I love you and goodbye)
I feel like I’m leaving as well – thanks for sharing these great moments. They’ve kept me going on these cold, winter days.
