Who know keeping an up-to-date travel blog would be so difficult? Who knew that after walking all day visiting amazing sights that you'd be too tired in the evening to blog? Who knew that it would take you 3-5 hours (minimum) per story because, 'it has to be perfect'? Who knew you were the Queen of Procrastination? (ok, ok, we all knew that one, it even says so in my profile) Who knew you'd be having too much fun that it would leave you no time to write? Not me, that's for sure!
I went into this adventure assuming it would be a breeze to blog about my adventures. I’ve always kept a travel journal and it was always relatively up to date. However, when putting your thoughts to paper for yourself, vss for the world to read, well that’s a different story.
All this to say, I’m behind! Horribly, shamefully behind! I have so many stories to share, like that tune when I was almost turned away at the UK border or when I got into a car with an IRA ex-prisoner. But I can’t tell you all these stories yet because I’m behind. However, I’ll catch up!
Thank you all for your patience. I know many of you look forward to reading about my travels. Believe me, I look forward in sharing them with you. It’s a big part of what makes this experience so enriching for me.
If you’re curious to see where I actually am at the moment, head on over the ‘Where in the World…?’ page (at the top of the blog) to see a map of all the places I’ve been, up until the very last place I’ve laid my head. As I leave for somewhere new, I update with the location I’ve just left.
You can also head over to my Facebook and Instagram pages to see ‘Photos of the Day’ , which usually feature my current (ish) location.
Again, thank you for your patience. Just know, for every day that goes by without a blog post, is another day I’m living my dream, another day I’m living out of my comfort zone…
